	Welcome to the Internet site of the "Kultur- und Förderverein Hopfenhalle Steinbach e.V." (it is something like an "incorporated society of friends of rural culture and our hops-hall")
	The club is locally active in a little village called "Steinbach", near the town Mainburg. It is in Germany, Bavaria, in the Hallertau, the biggest hops growing area of the world. It's purpose is non-profit volunteering engagement for rural culture and village live. It wants to give insight into the practical experience of hops growing and farming. And it organises the usage of the "hops-hall" in Steinbach, which is a kind of community hall with presentations about hops and rural life. As we are only locally active, our Internet homepage is only available in German language so far. But even if you do not speak German but are interested in rural life and "hops experience", you are warmly welcome to contact us. We will answer as soon as possible and, when you want to visit us, we will present our village and give you a guided tour through the hops gardens around it. Of course not everybody in our village speaks English, but we will find somebody to translate the most important terms.
